  • Owner & Director

Courtney is a traditional Irish fiddle player and multi-instrumentalist from Co. Wicklow. Although classically trained to the highest level at the Royal Irish Academy of Music during her childhood, her primary passion lies in Irish traditional music — performing, composing, and arranging tunes that bring people together. She is a multi All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil winner.

Courtney has toured extensively throughout Europe and the US on a part-time basis with traditional music groups and Irish dance productions, sharing stages with renowned musicians such as Westlife, Damien Dempsey, and Mickey Joe Harte.

Alongside her music career, Courtney is a qualified accountant and Irish tax consultant, having worked for over 10 years in a large Dublin practice. She studied business at Trinity College Dublin, and this professional experience ensures every event she works on is organized, efficient, and seamless — from corporate galas to bespoke weddings.

Courtney founded Ceili Cottage in 2021 when she realised life was too short to remain in an office job. She wanted to bring joy to people through music and dance, ensuring that international guests to Ireland could experience world-class musicianship and authentic Irish dance. The large network of musicians and dancers she built from her time touring and performing made the transition into the entertainment industry a natural one.

From show-stopping stage performances to interactive ceilí experiences and intimate reception music, Courtney’s aim with Ceili Cottage is to create vibrant, unforgettable performances that add joy and atmosphere to every event.
